Yeah for Kindergarten!
He was so excited to go to school there was hardly a backward glance. No tears just smiles all the way. I can hardly believe he is old enough to go to school. He has loved every minute of school and comes home every day with something new to tell me about. The first day of class they read stories about the gingerbread man and played with puppets and made ginger bread cookies - mixed the dough, shaped the men, baked, and decorated their own cookies to bring home and show us. What an awesome first day of school! No wonder he loves it!
Jared with Mrs. Rose, his new kindergarten teacher. When we went to the Kindergarten orientation back in May he took one look at all the teachers and pointed out Mrs. Rose and said, "I want that teacher. The one in the pink sweater. She looks nice."
Lucky us! She is exactly the teacher we got!
